The Village Gallery opened in 1972 , and is a craft store which specializes in hand-made Stoneware and Porcelain pottery, and also sells many other quality crafts. Most of the pottery (over 200 individual items) is produced by the owners, Walt & Cynthia Glass at their studio in McQueeney, Texas and is named the McQueeney Pottery.

Walt has been producing pottery since 1967, when he took his first pottery class in college. They emphasize quality over quantity in their work ethic, and they welcome Special Orders, Dinnerware Sets, and Bridal Registries. Of course all their work is lead-free, dishwasher & microwave safe, and oven proof.

Their glazes have been FDA tested and approved. The gallery can drop-ship an order almost anywhere in the world via UPS, and the normal turnaround time to get an order out is four to six weeks.
